More Details: Understanding Pitta Oil

Pitta governs metabolism, digestion, and energy transformation in the body. When Pitta is out of balance, it manifests as excessive heat, redness, inflammation, and "fiery" emotions like anger or impatience. Pitta Oil acts as a natural coolant. By using a base of Sunflower oil alongside Sesame oil, this formulation ensures the treatment isn't too "heating" for the skin. Herbs like Brahmi and Musta work on the subtle level of the nervous system to "quench" the fire of stress, while Manjistha and Guduchi work on the physical level to cleanse and cool the blood. It is particularly effective when used for a relaxing massage after a long day or during the summer months to maintain a balanced body temperature.
